2D (two-dimensional) drawings

describe objects in terms of length and height on a flat surface without depth.

3D (three-dimensional) drawings

describe objects in terms of height, width and depth.

Blog

It is a type of website where content is published periodically in the form of posts or articles, and which usually has a specific theme (fashion blogs, food, sport, travel, IT, etc.). It can be of a personal nature, or used as a digital tool for companies.

Blog

Shortened from weblog, a blog is a frequently updated website that is used for personal commentary or business content. It can take the form of posts or articles and usually has specific topics, such as sport, travel, entertainment, food, IT, etc.

Community manager

A position within a company. This person is responsible for the company's online presence, managing and administrating social media, building an online community, creating and publishing multimedia content and interacting with the company's audience.

Cultivate Resilience

Individual with growth mindset, then take the time and make the effort to develop it. Persist and opportunities will come. Cultivate resilience along the way. You are remoulding your mind and own your attitude.

Digital technology

Digital technologies are electronic tools, systems, devices and resources that generate, store or process data. Well known examples include social media, online games, multimedia and mobile phones. Digital learning is any type of learning that uses technology.

Drop-shipping store

It is a store that ships goods from a manufacturer or wholesaler directly to a customer instead of to the retailer who took the order.

E-commerce

E-commerce is the buying and selling of products or services over the Internet, through e-commerce platforms, social media and other websites.

Empowerment

Gaining power and the freedom to follow your desires.

Entrepreneurship

entrepreneurship is an activity with an inherent and very high coefficient of risk. The assumption of risk is among the few elements that distinct entrepreneurs from managers.

Fixed mindset

People with a fixed mindset are more likely to believe that their ability and intelligence can't be changed; that they're either good at something or not. They're usually easily discouraged and might avoid taking risks or trying new things because they're fearful of failure.

Goal setting

Deciding and planning what you want to achieve.

Growth Mindset

"A growth mindset is the belief that personal characteristics, such as intellectual abilities, can be developed, and a fixed mindset is the belief that these characteristics are fixed and unchangeable." (Yeager & Dweck, 2020, p. 1): A growth mindset is the belief that your skills and abilities are not set in stone. Just as mighty oaks grow from tiny acorns, our talents might start small, but they have the potential to grow huge.

HTTPS

The HTTPS protocol (HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure) enables secure connection and data transfer between the server and the browser.

Inclusion and promote individuality

Inclusion is a system for making sure organisations are welcoming at every level to every individual. Inclusion is about finding like-mindedness in our differences and embracing individuals' unique ideas and ideals. Leaders with a growth mindset have a deep desire to do this and lead inclusion and embrace individuality as their primary growth strategy.

Influencer

This is a person who is an opinion leader on the Internet, who expresses opinions on one or more topics and influences many people who follow or know him or her. Nowadays, influencers are the celebrities of the Internet, and are dedicated to topics such as fashion, make-up, video games, sport, among many others.

Intercultural management

It means understanding and managing the effects of cultural influence on organisation, team, and business to optimise organisational performance. Its purpose is to create an environment where there is awareness and respect for each culture.

Management

Management is the coordination and administration of tasks to achieve a goal. Such administration activities include setting the organization's strategy and coordinating the efforts of staff to accomplish these objectives through the application of available resources.

Motivation

'Motivation' is the process of inspiring people in order to intensify their desire and willingness for executing their duties effectively and for co-operating to achieve the common objectives of an enterprise. In other words, it means to induce, instigate, incite or prompt someone to a particular course of action for getting the results expected from him.

Networking

A term that refers to building a professional network of people with interrelated interests. The larger the network, the greater the chances of finding work or business opportunities.

Open mindset

A growth mindset requires leaders to be more inclusive to the unique needs and perspectives of others. Growth requires more than profits; it requires a clear understanding of human capital assets. It involves learning how to serve the unique needs of the individual and/or consumers and the unique needs of employees.

Privacy

It is everything related to an individual's personal life, which is kept confidential and does not have to be shared with others without the individual's consent. Privacy is a fundamental right enshrined by the United Nations, by the European Parliament, and even by the laws of individual countries.

Self-awareness

Self-awareness is your ability to perceive and understand the things that make you who you are as an individual, including your personality, actions, values, beliefs, emotions, and thoughts. Essentially, it is a psychological state in which the self becomes the focus of attention.

Self-efficacy

Self-efficacy refers to an individual's belief in his or her capacity to execute behaviours necessary to produce specific performance attainments.

Sense of initiative and entrepreneurship

Sense of initiative and entrepreneurship refers to an individual's ability to turn ideas into action. It includes creativity, innovation and risk-taking, as well as the ability to plan and manage projects in order to achieve objectives.

Social media

Or social network. A concept referred to the Internet world since the end of the 20th century. It is a digital platform that allows people and communities to connect and interact with each other, as well as to publish and share multimedia content. For example, Facebook or Instagram.

Social skills

A set of learned abilities that enable an individual to interact appropriately and successfully with others.

Soft skills

It is a type of skills that are obtained throughout daily life, personal experiences and reflections. A combination of interpersonal skills and social skills, also called life skills (or people skills).

Software

Software is a set of instructions, data or programs used to operate computers and execute specific tasks. It is the opposite of hardware, which describes the physical aspects of a computer. Software is a generic term used to refer to applications, scripts and programs that run on a device.

SSL certificate

An SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate is a security protocol that allows the transfer of data between a browser and a web server to take place in a secure and encrypted manner.

Stereotypes

They are often unfair and untrue beliefs which many people have about all people or things with a particular characteristic.

Team building

Team building is a management technique used for improving the efficiency and performance of the workgroups through various activities. It involves a lot of skills, analysis and observation for forming a strong and capable team. The whole sole motive here is to achieve the organization's vision and objectives.

Team working

It means that people will try to cooperate, using their individual skills and providing constructive feedback, despite any personal conflict between individuals.

Time management

Time management is the process of planning and controlling how much time to spend on specific activities. Good time management enables an individual to complete more in a shorter period of time, lowers stress, and leads to career success.

Vector images

is a form of digital images created with mathematical equations, points, lines, and curves and the images can be made larger or smaller without losing resolution. Vector files are an alternative to Raster files that are composed of a fixed number of square pixels.

Website

A website is composed of all the web pages of the same domain stored on a server. Colloquially, the terms website and web page are used interchangeably, although they are not exactly the same.
